21st INTERNATIONAL FINNISH MINIGOLF MARATHON TOURNAMENT IN TAMPERE, FINLAND ON 7 – 8.2.2009

Venue                                              Raholan liikuntakeskus (Rahola Gym Center), Tampere

Address: Teerivuorenkatu 2 Tampere is about 160 km from Helsinki and about 170 km from Turku. Rahola is about 5 km from Tampere city centre.

Method                                             Team competition only on eternit. A team consists of 2 players. One of the players is

always in turn to play. Maximum allowed difference between played rounds is 4 at the

end of the competition (that means 8 before final). It is also possible to form teams of players representing different clubs.
 

Schedule                                         Start on Saturday 7.2.2009 at 11:00

The competition consists of 22 preliminary rounds. In case the number of participating teams is 37 or more, there will be only 20 preliminary rounds played.

After that 4 final rounds will be played by 50% of the teams. (However minimum amount is 12 teams).

Training                                           Thursday 5.2.2009 12:00 - 22:00 free of charge

Friday 6.2.2009 9:00 - 22:00 free of charge Saturday 7.2.2009 8:00 -10.45 free of charge

Tournament                                    fee 70 €

Fee will be collected on the spot.

Prizes                                               One prize per every six teams.

Cafeteria                                         In the gym there is a cafeteria open at normal opening hours.

 

Antidoping                                       The doping rules of the World Minigolfsport Federation and International Olympic Committee will apply. So, both doping and alcohol control/testing are possible in the tournament.
