Austria took a long-awaited victory at Nations Cup 2008, beating Germany in the final match 91 – 97. The victorious team consisted of Markus Berger, Elisabeth Berger-Rella, Manfred Lindmayr and Herbert Ziegler.

Switzerland 1 took bronze, beating Sweden 90 – 98 in the bronze match.

Switzerland 2 beat Netherlands 96 – 98 in the match for 5th and 6th place, and Finland 1 beat Finland 2 99 – 105 in the match for 7th and 8th place.
