This year’s best first-timers in European (or World) Championships of adults are Gustav Björnberg of Sweden in men, and Annie Jasper of Netherlands in women.

Annie Jasper was 17th in women’s competition, narrowly missing the cut for cup finals. Gustav Björnberg was 19th after the 8 preliminary rounds (better than any other first-timer), and 4th in the cup competition.
