Swedish players Anders Olsson and Karin Wiklund are on top in the latest WMF world ranking, dated 1st November 2008.

The long-time leader of women’s ranking, Bianca Oberweg of Germany, fell to third place after a less than perfect season, where she also skipped the Nations Cup. Natasja Klarenbeek (Netherlands) rises from third place to second place, and Karin Wiklund (Sweden) rises from second place to first place.

In men’s ranking Anders Olsson of Sweden increased his lead to a massive 1.815 points ahead of Mike Mann (Switzerland), who rises from third place to second place. Daniel Klosek of Germany takes the third place in the ranking, as Peter Eisenschmidt (Sweden) falls from 2nd place to 5th place.
